Gift/Inheritance tax is dealt with under our selfassessment tax system and the obligation is on you to ensure that proper returns are made in time and whatever tax due is paid to the Revenue by the due date.
If tax is due in the case of gifts it is payable under self assessment rules and for transactions during January to August it is payable on the following 30th September and for transactions during September to December on the following 30th September.
